ROLE DESCRIPTION:

We are searching for a Territory Manager in the Ottawa/Eastern Ontario region to represent a global leader

in the oral healthcare market to grow sales and dental professional product usage and recommendation.

Territory would cover Ottawa, greater Ottawa region to include Kingston, Cornwall, and Brockville.

This is your opportunity to join our dynamic team of 11 Professional Oral Care Territory Managers!

As a KMAC Territory Manager you’ll be responsible for increasing product usage and recommendation with

Canadian dental professionals, increasing sales, and meeting all KPI’s (key performance indicators) through

implementation of effective and efficient sales strategies and processes.

At this role you will be responsible:

1. For growth with existing clients while creating new business growth in your territory to achieve your

annual sales objectives.

2. To develop sales and business plans identifying potential customers, improving distribution gaps,

recognizing underperforming accounts, and increasing overall profitability in your territory.

3. For developing and promoting long-term relationships with distributors that contribute to the

company’s continued success and growth.

4. For analyzing sales data and business results to create strategic growth and routing plans.

5. To effectively use sales tools and programs to achieve established key financial and activity

performance metrics.

6. For providing insight and feedback on competitive conditions and/or issues as they are

encountered in the field.

Specific Qualifications Include:

• 3-7 years experience in sales

• University Degree (or equivalent)

• Bilingualism (French) is an asset

• Proven skills in the following areas:

o Strong Organizational, Communication and Presentation Skills

o Ability to work effectively with multiple levels of management and dental office staff

o Ability to influence and lead change

o Analytical and problem solving skills

o Customer-focused and pro-active problem solving approach

• Knowledgeable and proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Valid driver’s license

National Field Sales Coordinator

Burlington, Ontario

POSITION SUMMARY:

As a key member of the National Field Sales team, the National Field Sales Coordinator will

collaborate with the POC Field Sales team and Client Managers to serve as the “go-between”

and “communication funnel” to and from the Field Sales Team. The National Field Sales

Coordinator is responsible for assimilating the information required in setting priorities for the

Field Sales Team to execute in a given cycle (i.e. weekly or quarterly time frame). The

incumbent is required to take initiative in creating a standard communications process, format

(communications template) and time cadence, to help support the Field Sales team focus on

priority tasks while using the appropriate tools for delivery.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Field Sales Priorities

  • Develop the communications plan, containing information crucial for the Field Sales
  • Team across the country (i.e weekly updates, reminders, follow ups, etc.)
  • Provide updates to clients based on Field Sales Team’s results and feedback;
  • Track, Monitor and Assess all Key Performance Indicators;

Sales Tools

  • Ensure all Field Sales Team is updating their CRM tool with daily calls & activities;
  • Responsible for participating in the Monthly Client meeting to share updates and
  • business plan for upcoming months/quarters;
  • Working with the Fortune 500 client management team to ensure all reporting is
  • accurate;
  • Responsible for co-travel with Field Sales Team and providing field coaching reports;
  • Manage and distribute all marketing and sales collateral materials to ensure team
  • understanding and use of all documents;
  • Locker facility and inventory management;
  • Business Intelligence
  • Assimilating reports that are gathered from the Field Sales team (e.i. Salesforce data
  • reports);
  • Responsible for the communication to the Field Sales Team & Management along with
  • working collaboratively with the VP/National sales manager;

Other Responsibilties

  • Works hand and hand with Fortune 500 client management team;
  • In charge of organizing and/or communicating any Field Sales Meetings/Conferences;
  • Sales operations and process implementation and compliance;
  • Assist leadership to attract, hire, develop and retains qualified employees while building
  • a robust team;
  • Proactively develop and maintain effective sales team member relations in a
  • professional, consistent and fair manner through a hands-on approach;
  • Provide coaching and support to the field sales team ensuring that all people issues are
  • handled in a fair and consistent manner;
  • Ensuring compliance with appropriate client regulations as well as KMAC HR policies
  • and procedures;
  • Developing a business/working relationship with the client and internal management
  • team, ensuring open communication and the development of a common agenda for
  • continued growth;
  • Supporting and suggesting improvements to the entire sales process;
  • Implementing communication of KMAC values, strategies, and objectives while
  • assigning accountabilities, planning, monitoring, and appraising data, KPI’s and job

IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION, WE WANT

TO HEAR FROM YOU:

  • Post secondary education required – business/sales concentration preferred;
  • 5-7 years work experience in a Sales or Marketing function;
  • Client management and experience;
  • Extremly strong computer skill set (Microsoft Office, PowerPoint);
  • Excellent analytical skills; with the uncanny ability to draw and develop key insights;
  • Strong organization and communication/collaboration skills;
  • Ability to deal with multiple priorities and managers at all levels;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, demanding work environment;

be working at retail locations, representing a leader in the oral care industry, where you will

be responsible for proactively interacting with and engaging shoppers to educate them on

proper oral hygiene while promoting select oral care products.

This is a paid, part-time contract opportunity (select days of the year) which will provide you

with a unique platform to educate the public and help Canadians improve their home care
